THE CONCEPT FOR INCIDENTAL WAS BORN OUT OF FIRE

I've worked on a lot of burn crews, in a lot of places in this country. Different bosses, different fuels, different organizations; but when it comes to uniforms and gear the story is almost always the same. On Day 1: Everyone riffles through giant tubs full of stinky old Nomex, trying to find some that actually fit (and usually failing). What you're left with is pants that threaten to fall down, or a shirt that bares your wrists,  or some other combination of distracting and potentially dangerous "safety" apparel. Even if you do find something in your so-called size, it's still a standard size.

And guess who standard sizing works for. NOBODY.

After several seasons of listening to long-armed or short-legged or tall-torso-ed colleagues complain, and doing a fair bit of complaining myself, I decided to take matters into my own hands. Sewing for me is an act of self-reliance. It's about taking raw materials and creating something essential, that does exactly what you need it to. It's about making the things you own work for you, instead of the other way around.

Whether you spend your days in the field or on the fireline, you've come to the right place for clothes that you won't have to think twice about.

Let's get to work!
